Public Notice of UGC Regarding Discontinuation of Recognition of Programmes of Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) offered through ODL mode.

UGC issued one Circular No. UGC/DEB/8/KSOU/1/2015 dated 16th June, 2015 regarding aforesaid matter.  This Circular clearly stated that the programmes offered by KSOU in collaboration with the private institutions/ entities/ coaching centres spread all over the country after 2012-2013 has not been recognized by UGC.


In Sl No 3 of this Circular UGC said that taking admissions to such programmes may jeopardize the career of the students, in view of the absence of recognition of the programmes of the university by UGC.
