Admission Notification in PG course 15-17
Online applications, are invited from eligible Honours graduate candidates for admission into following PG Courses (2 years – 4 Semesters) for the session 15-17.
M.A in Bengali, English, Sanskrit, Santali, History, Education, Political Science, Philosophy, Sociology, Economics, Geography and Anthropology &Tribal Studies.
M. Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Zoology.

Admission fee:
Lab based subjects : Rs. 3350/-
Non lab based subjects : Rs. 2550/-
60% Seats are reserved for Home University Category and 40% seats are reserved for Others university. Non selected candidates from Home University Category will be treated in 40% category.
Application fees :
General/ OBC-A/ OBC-B Category Rs. 150/- & SC/ST/PH Category Rs. 100/-
Online payment charge may be applicable.
Candidates has to be fees deposited either by “online” through debit card/credit card/net banking or ‘offline’ to the IDBI Bank, through computer generated challan only, payable bank charges, as applicable for net banking/debit/credit cards. The Registration Fee, once deposited is non-refundable.
Eligibility : 03 year Hons graduates in relevant subjects. Required year of graduation for regular courses 2015, 2014.
For MA in Anthropology & Tribal Studies – 03 years Hons graduates in Sociology, History, Anthropology, Political Science, Philosophy, Geography and Economics may also apply.
For MA in Sociology : 03 years Hons graduates in Sociology, Anthropology, Political Science, Economics, History &Philosophy may also apply.
For MA in Economics : 03 years Hons graduates in Economics, Mathematics, Physics, BE/ B. Tech may also apply.
Admission will be made strictly in order of merit by taking into consideration percentage of Honours marks (UG).
Verification of all original documents will be made and only after document verification, she/he will be recommended for admission. If any short-listed candidate fails to produce her/his all original documents at the counseling table, her/his candidature will be automatically cancelled.

If any seat for any course remains vacant after first counseling, the vacant position will be notified and also available in our website www.skbu.ac.in.
Reservation of seats as per West Bengal Government rules.
Producing of original documents & submition one set attested Photocopies of Proof of age (Madhyamik Admit), Graduation Mark-sheet, certificate of reserve category, PH certificate during Counseling is mandatory.
M. Sc Course in Mathematics is also conducted in the J.K. College centre, Purulia on self financing basis and admission of candidates will be made through central counseling by the University.
